Arms, hands, necks and fingers, cut off from the rest of the body. Twisted, shrunk or extended to provide a more elegant podium for diamond rings and pearl necklaces. The sparkling decadence directs our eyes and distracts us from the strange architecture carrying their weight. The monochrome objects that blend in with the velvety backdrop is here brought forward investigating the tension between romance and violence.
"Perhaps a reminder of my feelings for you"
He extends a flat square box to her, dark blue. She looks at it with genuine surprise and her jaw drops as he slowly opens the box revealing its content.
"It ́s overwhelming" - She says.
"Well, it ́s royalty. We are royalty" - He replies.
"You know, there is nothing I could not give you. Nothing that I would deny you - If you would not deny me.."
